Family trip to Kundasang, Ranau.

So I've been abandoning my blog again huh? Yea, I am. I'm enjoying my own sweet time at home, wasting every moment with deep sleep before I'm going back to my crazy working life. I went out shopping also, which I claim as my own self reward. But I guess that is not really accurate because I shop all the time HAHA.

And I also went out of the house tagging my big families for a short trip to Kundasang and Ranau. My aunt actually planned this. She wanted to bring her kids for a short trip. And as usual, all of us automatically joined the trip HAHA and I was the driver of course. My other half drove my car back to his home because I was away to Sibu, he was so annoying he didn't want to use taxi, he said he had too many stuff this time *sigh*. So for this trip, I drove my aunt's MPV, considering my 7 passengers wtf.

Kinabalu Park. Actually we didn't go inside. We arrived late due to some reasons and of course because my driving skill is really poor wtf. I stopped by and told the kids to take pictures as proof that we were here HAHAHA.

My other half is originally from Ranau (his home to Kundasang only takes 20 minutes I guess), so I asked him to book rooms first. He booked deluxe room at Pine Resort Kundasang. For my standard, it's worth the money. It's clean and comfortable. The surrounding is very pretty too. But I would choose to eat outside for breakfast. Not really a problem actually, it was just because the choices are limited.

It was heavy rain the night before, so the next morning was realllllyyyy cold. I don't really expect this weather because last time I came, it doesn't really cold and I brought thin clothes!!! Serve me right. It was too cold that I woke up at 4.30 am and can't sleep *sigh*. However, it was breathtaking seeing Kinabalu Mount in the morning. See my cousins? HAHAHA all wrapped like durian crepe. At 6.30 am I was, 'wake up! You guys said want to see Kinabalu Mount right? There!' And my other half was like, 'sigh this girl, what's so special about it?' HAHAHAHA okay lah you see it for the whole of your life but please be understanding for us.

Waiting for checkout.
Kundasang's weather makes me feel like I'm extra pretty HAHAHA

Since it was really a short trip, we don't bother to bring the kids to Poring Hotspring. The chances of kids don't want to go back after having fun is sky high. We chose not to take the risk HAHAHA. Then we head to a known natural fish spa, Luanti.

My second time to Luanti and I'm still afraid of the fishes HAHAHA. They're so big I feel like they can bite my feet until my knees wtf.

Look at my annoying face wtf. Mum was so busy trying to catch fishes for no reason.

The tour guide, my other half. He was like, 'come here. Those big ones are useless. They only cuddle your feet. These small ones actually give you real spa.' And I was, 'what? They bite? NOOOOO!!' HAHAHA

Fishes all gone from our side because people next to us bring food for them wtf.

Ungrateful fishes after ate all food from us then you guys ran away.

Then we head to Desa Cattle Farm at Mesilau, Kundasang. I heard so many stories from my friends. They all said the place is soooo beautiful. But they forgot to tell me how risky the steep hills. I was so thankful that I asked my other half to drive. I would cause unpleasant memories if I am the driver. One friendly reminder from me if you wish to go there, make sure your brake functioning excellently especially if you drive automatic car.

So yeah, I took nice pic of you. Now, your turn to take mine.

You think this nice huh??

Next attempt. He said I'm too short to snap the peak view wtf

On me ; Top and pant : Roxy
Sandal : local store

And our only pic together taken by my aunt. I'm soooo makcik-makcik right? HAHAHAHA. He said I look like I'm losing weight but why do I feel like I'm gaining weight? I'm trusting my own instinct because I know what I eat.

I love trip like this. Trip of lots people and lots sweet memories.

leaving footprints

Since kid, I always dream of studying abroad because it sounds so cool. That dream never came true because I was not a very bright student back in school days. So yeah, study in the country still gives me good life. However, overseas still sounds cool HAHA. Unsure how it all started, travel becomes one of my mission in life. Airlines websites are among my favorite websites wtf.

I do love traveling. Before I start earning my own, I took part in college activities because I wanted to get a chance of getting free airline tickets. You know how it works right? Be active, be winner, then college will send you to compete with contestants from other states. Usually it will be held in West Malaysia. So, we from east will go there. That's how I managed to get free tickets HAHAHA. Its 2 in 1. Competition and jalan-jalan hehe.

Then when I came into real life, earning from my own sweats, my wish getting bigger from domestic to international. This year, I settled down with Bangkok and Bandung. My other half and I keep telling each other how we want to visit Bangkok again because we had not enough. The people is so nice, the food is very delicious, tourist friendly, not to mention shopping heaven. Even though flying to other countries sometimes makes me worry because of language differences (my english is not very good and not very fluent also), but I think so far nothing too hard to handle.

For the time being, I have few places to dream of. Let's see.

JAPAN

One of my favorite. I always tell the universe that I must come here before my last breath wtf. Malaysian needs visa to visit Japan and they say to apply it requires at least RM10k in saving account *gulp* That's a lot of RM!

Can you see how beautiful sakura is? Everything is in pink.

Of course the top reason why I want to visit Japan is I want to spend all my money there! Gosh I really love Japan stuff. I read that Japan has many tourist attractions such as historical buildings but I'm not so into buildings, so I guess shopping suits me best HAHA.

SOUTH KOREA

Before this I really really want to visit South Korea. I think it is because I watch tons of Korean dramas or movies. Then, when I read others' experience, I'm not sure anymore why I want to go there. As I mentioned earlier, I prefer going somewhere I can shop till drop HAHA. They say it's a perfect vacation if you want to visit historical buildings or drama set. Yes, I can still shopping there but Japan worth it more. Or maybe I want to go Korea just because I want to ask the universe to let me meet these people;

The hilarious Running Man.

The angels SNSD

Big Bang

I sound like 15 year old girl when I mentioned those Kpop Idols, didn't I? So what? I'm a teenage in the heart HAHAHAHA

MALDIVES

Honestly, this never came into my mind until today HAHAHA. I was reading people travel experiences on the net, suddenly I found a thread of Maldives. Maigoodness I don't know Maldives look soooooo beautiful like this. Frankly I do know Maldives as one of beautiful islands, but I don't really care to google more about it until today.

Can you say no? I'm not a beach person. I always avoid the sun. I get sunburn easily. I don't know how to swim. I don't wear swimsuit. I am afraid of sea creatures. But this one is exceptional.

And actually, I still have an option of not going to Maldives to save cost. I can still go to Sipadan Island or Kapalai Island (pic above). But, you know right, I said something about overseas earlier hehehe. Well, to be truth, I think my other half will forever disagree (unless we win free tickets and accommodation from lucky draw wtf) on this beach idea. He works offshore so he gets boring already. He said whenever he see seas he wants to vomit HAHAHA. But I doubt that because his favorite food is still seafood wtf.

So universe, please let me know which place should I go this coming 2013. Besides, please pour me with lots of RM too. Or if you are double generous, make it in USD. I would be forever thankful for that.

Impromptu escape to Kuala Lumpur

Sometimes I would feel like I'm not Malaysian because when someone talks about Kuala Lumpur, I don't know what's the latest happen there. You know outsiders mostly will notice Malaysia if you mention Kuala Lumpur. So I feel like if I don't know Kuala Lumpur that much, I'm not Malaysian wtf. I mean like current top shopping mall, or super delicious meal, etc etc. The last time I went there was two years ago. Attended my convocation. Eventhough I was in transit at LCCT and KLIA few times this year, can't be count because those airports are not in major cities wtf.

So this was my impromptu trip. Went alone and met my friend who works there. Well actually, not really impromptu lah because I planned this for weeks but still can't decide whether to go or not to go. In the end, I went HAHAHA. You know why did I suddenly want to go to KL? The only purpose was I wanted to visit 76style !! My friends told me I am crazy spend money just because I want to visit a hair salon. But I insisted this salon is different! It is Japanese salon! HAHAHAHA will blog about my experience with 76style in my next post (god knows when).

My first day. I went straight to the airport from work and didn't get enough rest. I went kamikaze without book a hotel, so I had to walk here and there looking for the best hotel for single lady. In the end, I stayed at Capitol Hotel in front of Lowyat and next to Sungei Wang. They gave me a corner room costs RM 4++ per night. I'm not sure why they gave me discount so I paid much lesser than that lah HAHAHA I'm so lucky #likeaboss. The room is super comfortable! Worth the rate I paid I must say. The only lack about the room was the tv. It didn't function like a tv wtf. You can only listen to sound but no graphic. Maybe the person before me changed the signal and I'm too stupid I don't know how to fix it fml.

Wait for my friend to pick me up for supper.

KLCC view from my room. Believe it or not, I never went to KLCC yet T______________T

Top from Berjaya Times Square. Chose black because I wanted to try mode-style then I started to fall in love with it even though before this I always thought people who wear black all the time is fashion-less and lazy HAHAHA.
My minimal make up nowadays. I rarely put eyelid tap already. These days I also read Ray magazine and I try to practise their minimal but sweet make up. Contact lens is RainbowColor Wood Ash. Eyeliner, pencil liner both from Dolly Wink. Lipstick and lipgloss from Candy Doll. Cuteness from myself HAHAHAHA.

I really love this top especially at the back. It has buttons at the back so it doesn't look like typical boring black top.

The hotel receptionist noticed my necklace and she finds it pretty. Thank you so much but I'm not selling it wtf

Close up on the necklace. Bought at Bandung. Can't recall which outlet. Either The Secret or Oasis.

Accessories from Forever 21
La Senza was having sale on that time so,,,, yeahhh.. I actually don't mind wearing a RM10 bra as long as it's comfortable and able to hug me well wtf. This La Senza haul is ummmm just because HAHAHAHA Not sure why I bought floral motives. Usually I prefer plain one. No fancy colors, no fancy motives, no fancy laces, etc etc etc. I don't find those are important because for the time being, I have no one to show my bras HAHAHAHA
Pastel skinny from Topshop. I saw Tricia Gosingtian wears this color and she looks really good in it. I hope it'll looks good on me too. Not sure why I dare to compare Tricia who is a walking barbie with myself who is a walking zombie fml.

So this short trip ended here.

It's fasting month and I'm doing good. I've never mentioned this before but I actually took Ephyra since June. I'm on my second box now. Ephyra is a collagen drink. In a same time it can gives energy. So, thank you to Ephyra for your contributions in my fasting effort lol.

Bandung, Indonesia.

This 3 days 2 nights short trip had been planned like a year ago. AirAsia went crazy selling mad cheap tickets and lead me to craziness too that I instantly bought tickets to Bandung. I told my colleague that I hate AirAsia because they charge for everything. They say their fare is cheapest but try adding baggage, meals etc, tadaaa still expensive T______T So I found the secret for real cheap one. Buy now for next year trip! LOLOL everybody already know that la you stupid Vujie.

From Miri, we took midnight flight and arrived at LCCT around 2 am. Stranded at LCCT waiting for our early flight to Bandung at 6.40 am. I was seriously tired by that time. Didn't have enough sleep because from work, went straight home to pack up things then went to airport only to find out that our flight was delayed wtf. Can't find nice spot to take a nap there some more T__T

One horrible experience at LCCT international departure. I went to one of the toilet only to find out that bowl was full of shits fml really spoiled my morning. I never knew Paleolithic still alive till that day wtf. It's so simple lah to flush after using it *sigh*

I would love to warn you that I might include all Bandung pictures in this entry. We didn't take many pictures there, we were focus on the shopping HAHA.

Beautiful scenery of clouds on morning flight to Bandung

Like pro or not?

Well, that's the only pictures from our day 1 HAHAHAHA. We dropped our luggage at the hotel (we stayed at Utari Hotel, Jalan Dago) then we went to Pasar Baru for textile shopping. They say the fabrics are mad cheap here. For me, it depends on the quality itself. But it's true that they are all up-to-date. And I think they're cheaper in Bandung compare to Malaysia. I'm not a fan of baju kurung, so I don't really know about the latest fabric and price comparison. I do know only a little bit hehehe. Two shops I would suggest here are Seroja Jaya and Vogue. Both in Lantai 2 if I'm not mistaken. Especially the Seroja Jaya. They were so kind they offered to send our stuff to the hotel because we bought in bulk and it was burdensome for us to take it ourselves.

I wanted to buy lots of fabrics for baju kurung and telekung actually, but I kinda dislike that place. Too crowded and plastic bags sellers following you nonstop *sigh* that was annoying. Even the boy at Seroja Jaya whispered to me, "Just ignore them." Smokers are everywhere even it is inside the mall, ugh I feel like dying. I can't hold it any longer and told my bf to go back hotel. Enough for Pasar Baru. We took random taxi outside and the driver charged us for F-ing Rp50,000 from Pasar Baru to Dago. I knew he took advantage of us, but I was too tired to argue T__T When I told my bf and compared the fare with the first driver who drove us to Pasar Baru, he said, "Ehh you are right..." pfffttt. I hope the driver who took advantage of us live happily :)

Redeemed our sleep for a while at hotel then went out again to factory outlets along Jalan Dago. We didn't buy anything because nothing caught our eyes (and our wallets wtf).

The next day went to Trans Studio Theme Park. My bf was not feeling well that also made this Bandung trip less fun T___T We chose to pay more for VIP tickets so we don't need to queue longer #likeaboss. It's useful if you have limited time to spend, like us HAHA.

I am as tall as fairies. Let me be fairy too!! Pink fairy if you say yes lol

Vujie Potter

HAHAHA it looks like I purposely take picture with the black shirt guy. This Dunia Lain is actually a ghost house. I knew already there will be human pretend to be ghost wearing ghost costume, come out from nowhere to make you afraid. That black shirt guy's girlfriend who sat in front of me, screamed because one of the ghost walked next to her while my bf and I laughing at the back HAHAHA.

Too bad I had ulcer on my lip that time *shit why must you come when I want to travel* and that's how I cover it lol

Cihampelas Walk. Because they say this is one of the best spot to shop. Walked along the street and felt meehh~~ what is this just like pasar. The only attractions are the figurines in front of shops. The Ciwalk mall is quiet okay lah. Only took lunch there and went to Rumah Mode at Jalan Setiabudhi. Oh wait. We also went to Toko Tiga, famous for jeans. Nothing caught our eyes too. Sigh what is this why we didn't find happiness here wtf.
This is one of the best outlets I would suggest! Clothes and bags are nice and lots of choices compare to others. Besides I would suggest The Secret, Terminal Tas, Oasis also. I didn't go to Heritage so I can't say more.

Excuse my super exhausted face -.-"

To conclude, I think Bandung is not really a place for me. I might coming back here only if I want to buy nice and cheap fabrics. The traffic is totally horror. Only Indonesians can drive well. If you give me car keys and ask me to drive there, I would die instantly wtf. I suggest to hire a driver in Bandung because it is more convenient and in my opinion, Bandung is not pedestrian friendly. Outlets are located far to each other. If you happen to go to Amanda, try their choc brownies. Very delicious I must say.

Bandung trip ends here. I would love to blog about my Bandung hauls if I had extra time after this XD
