Bangkok, Thailand, The Land of Smiles, Part 2

Before we proceed, I would love to warn you that this entry has almost 50 pictures in it! I suggest you to have excellent internet connection to view this entry beautifully wtf. Okay, seriously. I don't want to combine them, like 5 pictures into 1 just because I'm blogging this as my permanent memory. In case I have alzheimer in the future, this blog can helps me HAHAHA. Or as a reference for my next generations in case they want to find out how do I look when I was young wtf.

Actually I brought my make up and lenses because I knew one of my intention in the trip was taking pics a lot, so must put make up to make me less ugly. But, before our flight landed, the stewardess announced that Bangkok is 33'celcius, my bf and I looked at each other and we instantly understood we both will sweat alot HAHAHA. And I automatically neglected the make up and lenses because sweat absolutely won't tolerate.

Day 3

I really wanted to visit wax museum. Madame Tussaud in London is too far, so I went to Madame Tussaud in Bangkok because it is the nearest wtf. I find it's cool taking pictures with celebrities eventhough they're just wax version HAHAHA. Madame Tussaud in Bangkok located in Siam Discovery, so we walked to Siam because my friend said it is just a walking distance from Pratunam. Save on transport, spend more on haul, remember? HAHAHA

Do not underestimate this Platinum Mall. You can't see people in the picture because we went there super early and the mall hasn't opened yet. Once it open, people is everywhere.

When we were at the counter to buy Madame Tussaud tickets, the salesgirl kept persuading us to buy the Siam Ocean (or whatever I can't recall) ticket too because it'll be cheaper to buy in Madame Tussaud + Siam Ocean package. She even said the biggest in Asia or what I can't remember. Since the first place, I'm not interested and my bf is sick of anything related to sea (because he works there) except seafood (because we both loves seafood), so I refused. Then the girl once again asked, "Are you sure madam?" HAHAHA she really wanted to sell the package to us to get more commission I guess but sorry, we have that too in our country, Aquaria KLCC (which actually I never went). But wax museum, we don't have.

My bf and I were too excited that we moved very quick from one section to another section. We were like 'there must be more more and more. faster! faster!' When we reached the last section, we were like, 'so that's it? really?' So I'm saying don't expect you'll find thousand wax in the Bangkok museum because the main wax museum is in London. Take your time read all the information given about the wax. We didn't because we thought there must be more so we rushed to another site T________T But it still fun.

It offers lot stuff too but I didn't buy anything there, except phone case, considered on my laziness to bring them back to Pratunam. Plus I really wanted to spend all my money on Platinum Mall. I'm not sure if in MBK you can bargain on the price like what you can do in Platinum Mall.

When we were heading back to our hotel, we accidentally found a cosplay event in front of Siam Paragon. That explained why they have ultraman and robot before.

These two cosplayers were the cutest we found that day. I wanted to take picture with both of them. My bf too. I almost went to them and ask for photo but then I told my bf, it'll be awkward for him to be in the picture with them because those two girls were taller than him, then he backed off HAHAHAHA. At first I thought the girl with long wig was prettier but then I changed my mind, the girl with green wig was prettier. Plus, I don't know why I think the long wig girl's heels didn't match her costume.

Bangkok, Thailand, The Land of Smiles, Part 1

So I was very excited about this trip. My first trip to other country. Well actually, if you insist to count Brunei Darussalam, this is my second overseas trip wtf. Since Brunei Darussalam is super near to us, sometimes I don't feel like I'm in other country when I'm at Brunei HAHA.

At first, I was supposed to go there alone. Well you know, I was trying to challenge myself to be adventurous and my inspiration was all backpackers wtf. Luckily, my other half off-duty and he then came with me. That was so much better so I can have somebody takes my pictures instead of taking my pictures by myself pfft.

I did lots of research of Bangkok especially hotspots for shopping. What floating market? River cruise? Wat? Sorry, not interested HAHAHAHA. Bought Bangkok maps before depart too. Pfftt very expensive one! If you guys plan to go there, no need to buy those expensive maps because you can get it for free at Suvarnabhumi Airport Thailand.

So I start my journey with large luggage and nothing inside except underwears and bras wtf.

Day 1

As we arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport, MAS Airlines was very kind they gave us simcards to use in Bangkok. Actually I'm not sure either the simcard provided by MAS or whatever telco, but I noticed there was Malaysia Airlines logo on it, so yeah. However, we didn't use them because we didn't bring extra mobile phones and we were lazy to change our original simcards in our iphones pfft. The immigration in their airport was realllllyyyy hectic. At first we were complaining why their immigration like that but few days later, I read in their local newspaper that they are actually short of officers. The immigration posts prepared to entertain about 80,000 people but nowadays tourist in Bangkok can reach 180,000 people FUUUUUUUUUUU.jpg

Took airport rail link because I wanted to save on transport and spend more on hauls HAHAHA. We stayed in Citin Hotel, Pratunam. Booked it thru their official website and I was lucky that I got their happy hour deal. Easy to locate. Download their maps from their website and ask people around, you can easily reach the hotel. As long as you can see the tallest Baiyoke Suite, then you know you are in the right place wtf.

The only picture of day 1 I can show you. Frankly, we didn't take lots pictures on the first day :( After resting for a while, we rushed to Platinum Mall just to look around how amazing is this mall. And yeah, Platinum Mall is supppeeerr amazingggg!! And that man starved because we can't find halal food on that day. Instant noodle also no halal logo T_T The next day, we found out we were stupid because we didn't notice there is actually a halal restaurant near our hotel HAHAHA.

Day 2

Went to Chatuchak Market. As I said I did lots of research, so I prepared my bestfriend. This;

HAHAHAHA if you are going to Chatuchak Market and don't want to get tanned, prepare yourself with sunblock.

Unfortunately, BTS is very far from our hotel and we had to walk to go there. We didn't take taxi or tuktuk because we didn't expect it'll be really far like that. And, remember my motto, save on transport to spend more on hauls HAHAHA.

Thais are really nice. When they saw we didn't know how to use the ticket machine, they helped us with smiles. I knew that Chatuchak Market open around 9 am but we went there early like 8.30 am, just because XD

That explains why you can't see many people in picture above.

Oh we managed to find a halal restaurant in Chatuchak Market. Look at the arrows on the above picture. But you need to wait for a while to get a table.

I don't want to describe how hot is Chatuchak Market because you can find that easily in other blogs. No worries. Hawkers are everywhere. You can buy delicious coconut drink with only 20baht. Or coke. Very cheap!

My man who at first said didn't want to shop because he came to accompany me only, end up bought 2 pairs of sneakers, backpack, and lots of shirts wtf. Me? A few sleeveless and souvenirs for friends and family only. Why? Because my mind kept remind my wallet that Platinum offers my fashion more wtf.

Seriously, I love art like this. Forgot what they call this (and lazy to google). Back in Sabah or KL, I also found art like this. I really think people who did something like this are super creative!

Not sure what's the other words in thai, all I can understand is only New York. So I can be in two places in a same time, Bangkok and New York wtf lame joke HAHAHA.

You can never starved in Bangkok. Foods are everywhere! And they really look delicious! But for muslims, it's a troublesome abit. Need to find stalls or restaurants with halal logo. But personally, I don't think it's that hard to find halal food in Bangkok. There is always a halal logo with halal foods in mall's foodcourt. Mostly arab food or indian food.

There was a story about this woman in pink. I think she was actually promoting the newly opened mall called Shibuya19, wore this girly pink dress, pink heels, pink earrings, pink makeup, stood right in front of the crowd. Suddenly wind dangerously blew her skirt HAHAHAHA luckily she wore a short inside. That's why in the right picture, she held her skirt like that.

Ash blond x Ash brown

For every cruel things I did to my hair, I think last week I was super super cruel wtf. I abused my own hair many times. Rebonding, curling, coloring, hair extension, I did all that. So my original hair, which was not-really-healthy too, lost its identity long time ago. But I do put a limit when it comes to rebonding or curling or hair extension. Coloring? Oh that's very tough HAHAHA. Because I think me with dark hair really look unattractive. That's why I always wonder how come people can look gorgeous with black hair? That's a puzzle I can't solve wtf.

So I went to change my hair color. At first, I was planning to fix the root only. But I can't control myself. So my mouth accidentally said, "Ok I want to recolor my hair." Duhh~

I chose ash color, which I adore recently. The hairstylist insisted to bleach my hair first so the exact color will come out. I told him that I actually don't want because my hair is already damage. In the end, I don't know how did I agreed to bleach T_______T

So this was the first day. In real life it was really really light. It was Schwarzkopf 8 something.

I didn't think he did a good job because the ash was not showing on the top T__T At the back, it was awesome!

I was worried how will my colleagues react when they see my super light hair. But I think they knew me already. Talk to me also no use. Because it's my money and I can do whatever I want with them HAHAHA. So they just being acceptable wtf.

Whenever I looked into the mirror, Tricia Gosingtian with her ash blond hair will appeared in my mind. How come she can be real pretty with ash blond hair and I can't???

Too bad it didn't turn out as I wish. It started turn to orangey yellowish which I think is euuww especially on the top. Plus, I don't think ash blond matches my skin tone. When I was ash blond, I can't skip the eyebrow routine. Must put something to make it matches the hair color. So it was a bit tiring. And it looked weird on me without any make up.

Then, not even a week, I went to salon again FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. Another salon of course.

And still chose ash. But ash brown. It's Schwarzkopf 6 something. Tadaaa~~~ I'm no longer ash blond.

If you ask me which one I like the most, I can't give an answer to that. Because I love both! But this ash brown is okay lar. With make up or without make up, it looks good on me.

By the time you are reading this, I'm not sure where am I. I might be at Bangkok already. Or might be at KLIA waiting for flight to Bangkok. Bye!

Girls like me can never be happy

You know the situation where your flight to travel will be in a day or two, you are being nervous, keep thinking what to bring, how's the weather, how many tops, is this match that or not, etc. I'll be flying on Friday and I have that feeling already wtf. To keep myself calm, I refuse to think about it HAHAHA.

It's my first time travel to that country and I'm pretty sure the weather will be exactly the same like Malaysia. Obviously because it is our neighbour HAHAHA. For first timer, I think I need travel itinerary, which I haven't done yet! What can I say, even if I do, the list will be shopping shopping shopping wtf. Well, shopping is the main purpose. Sight seeing is number two.

Talk about shopping, I realised recently I become a picky shopper. I used to buy anything cheap not consider the quality because 'you'll get what you pay'. Now, I still buy cheap things but with good quality! It's more like finding a treasure 'cheap but good quality'. I'm happy with that. How can you not be happy when you can get good things with cheap price tag??!!! I'm not sure in other places, but in the place I'm living in right now, it is pretty hard to find treasures like that. I mean like, every good quality will comes with expensive price lah of course. I'm not gonna buy a hair ribbon for RM39.90! That's expensive for me no matter how super sweet it looks. I would love it if we have a store that selling nice used stuff. Or maybe, it is me who didn't discover it yet.

And yeah, I am actually typing this entry out of boredom, so proceed with photospam! Took these pictures I-can't-remember-when then kept them in folder like ages ago HAHAHA only now want to post them.

But please, excuseeeeeeee fats on my thigh and tummy. The camera was too high I guess that made my legs weird HAHAHA.

I used to be underweight girl for like 21 years. The heaviest was 40kg. Unhappy with that. Now I have normal BMI with 44kg weight. Unhappy too and missed me being underweight HAHAHAHA girls like me can never be happy.

I hate the 40kg because I looked like a walking ghost in picture. Selca pictures never look damn good. Face structure looked like old woman. BUT. I can be damn good showing full body shot with no fats.

I hate the 44kg because fats all over thigh and tummy can't be hidden. BUT. Selca pictures become better XD

Once again, Girls Like Me Can Never Be Happy HAHAHA.

Reason why I tried hard to gain weight was I thought me being skinny never attractive. Well you know when we were younger, we kept being surrounded with guys who wanted to find a girlfriend, kept wooing you and your friends just to try their luck. On that time no one woo me because I was damn skinny like a corpse. They chose my friends who look nice with healthy body. HAHAHAHA pity me.

Well actually, I don't really care anymore. I can be good and happy no matter how cruel the weight scale shows the reality to me :D

I want this W♥C

Ever since I knew the existence of W♥C, my addiction grew bigger. Chinatsu really have this simple but attractive taste. I'm not a high fashion girl, I guess W♥C suits me. I had to admit the first time I saw W♥C line, I wonder why the designs are really simple, it's not like someone famous like Chinatsu would produce something like this. Using kumatan? Really? Ceh childish! But then, DANG!! W♥C slapped me right on the face and said, "Hey! Look at me! I can't believe you didn't love me!!" LOL

As I accidentally added a year to my previous age wtf, I think I started lost interest on Liz Lisa. Okay, I still love Liz Lisa but I don't think I can carry them perfectly anymore. Those flowery patterns I can't forget, but I can't carry the youngster image anymore. So I'm thinking to change my style to abit more mature. Can you say high fashion to me? NO! Because high fashion is usually overpriced and I can't afford T___T

But in my personal opinion, W♥C is okay. Not too young and not too mature. Just nice. So I went to the official web and found these;

This "I Can Pay Money" reminds me to the Post Office top. I really want this and walk into any shops-sell-expensive-stuff wearing this with bare face so the shopkeepers know I also can buy stuff in their shop HAHAHA.

I usually didn't like to wear long-sleeve like this, considering our climate in Malaysia which is freaking hot recently, because I sweat easily T___T

I think I can wear this to work :)

W♥C produced cute sweaters and I had a hard time choosing what to buy. I don't work in air-conditioned room and the weather is killing people who sweat heavily like me, so buying lot of sweaters means they'll stay in a long period in wardrobe before I get a chance to wear pfft. But really can't tahan leh not to buy those cuties!!

I am still unsure what to buy and still in the process of deciding *ehem*. We'll see XD
